Function and Application Areas

The Fs Remote Signaling Alarm Device is primarily used for centralized monitoring of surge protection devices installed in unattended or hard-to-inspect locations. Through the OBO Fs Remote Signaling Alarm Device, even from the control center, it is easy to understand the working status of the surge arrester.
Each surge protection device with Fs functionality is equipped with a monitoring module that continuously checks the working status of all connected surge protection modules. If a surge protection module fails, the mechanical device sends a command to the micro-switch inside the Fs monitoring module. Then, the normally open and normally closed contacts inside the monitoring module switch to normally closed and normally open, respectively, and send the fault information to a remote display or sound device.
The OBO Surge Protector V 25-B+C not only withstands high lightning current capacity but also features low protection voltage, making it suitable for use as a combined B+C protector.

Installation

The Fs device and surge protector are combined. During installation, simply fix them together onto any standard 35mm rail. The use of screwless crimp terminals makes wiring particularly convenient during engineering.
